As Account Manager with this leading raw materials distributor, you will drive growth and success in the Home Care and I&I division, focusing on the UK and Ireland. Using your account management skills, you expand the customer base while developing existing relationships.
This field based role involves regular travel to customers and will best suit someone living in the Midlands or South UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, nurture and grow the Home Care customer portfolio and prospects
- Provide excellent service and support to customers, handling enquiries and spotting opportunities
- Identify, approach and acquire new customers, owning their onboarding process
- Develop a thorough technical knowledge of the company’s product portfolio
- Manage commercial product campaign and initiatives
- Monitor performance and adjust plans to ensure KPIs are achieved
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry or similar, with experience in the Home Care and I&I Industry, ideally within the UK and Irish Market
- A strong understanding of the structure, trends and issues facing the UK industry
- Skilled communicator and constructive team member, confident engaging with scientists and all levels of management
- Organised and self-motivated, committed to overcoming obstacles to achieve targets
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems
