Boss Fragrances has entered the world of gaming with a themed experience on Fortnite.
The brand’s Be Your Own Boss ‘island’ on the online game is said to allow players to discover its collection of fragrances in an experiential way.
Consumers can enter a code to access the island, which takes them to a lobby where four Boss Bottled fragrances are on display.
These include Boss Bottled Eau de Toilette, Boss Bottled Eau de Parfum, Boss Bottled Parfum and the brand’s latest launch, Boss Bottled Elixir.
One player is designated as ‘the boss’, who aims to complete the Coty-licensed brand’s game by climbing to the top of a Boss bottle and collecting a ‘spark’.
The others are the hunters who try to prevent the first player from reaching their goal.

This is not the first time Fortnite, which is estimated to have more than 500 million players worldwide, has crossed paths with the world of beauty.
Revolution Beauty has previously launched a Fortnite-themed make-up collection.
The products, which included eyeshadow palettes, make-up brushes and skin care, are inspired by characters from the popular game.
Boss is the latest beauty brand to tap into the gaming sphere, amid a surge of collaborations that show no signs of slowing down.
UK beauty retailer Lush teamed up with Super Mario for a collection of bath and body products, including a Question Block Bath Bomb with a hidden ‘power-up’ soap inside.
Meanwhile, L’Oréal, Fenty Beauty and Urban Decay have all utilised Roblox this year, launching engaging spaces in the gaming platform.
