In this role you'll be responsible for creating marketing that promotes our collection of leading B2B titles in the life sciences industry, as well as the promotion of our established, respected events that attract visitors from across the globe. The role is extremely varied and includes campaign management focused on promoting our portfolio of printed and online content that attract over 1.5 million visitors each year.
You should have experience of creating excellent content as well as a confident communication style as you will be expected to have direct contact with our partners and customers. You should be super organised and administratively strong with a high attention to detail. The role also requires the analysis of campaign output and some commercial acumen that ensures your campaigns attract a high level of conversion from our customer base.
You will have experience of event management including, set-up, liaison with venues, management of speakers and delegate registration.

Main Responsibilities
- Supporting and reporting to the Events Marketing Manager, you will deliver the life sciences marketing strategy across a variety of channels
- Planning and delivering content and social media, including creation of graphics and copy
- Researching and writing engaging marketing content that appeals to this industry along with suitable promotional materials
- Managing the design and production of promotional materials (print and digital assets, videos etc.) including the submission of creative briefs and ensuring all elements are on brand and created within the given timescale
- Managing email marketing strategies for the titles including, planning campaigns, creating and building email designs,
- A/B testing, analytics reporting and future plans for improvement
- Planning and coordinating events, webinars, and seminars
- Ensuring all marketing activity is delivered in a timely manner, within budget and guiding the overall event marketing costs
- Supporting the sales team in producing client presentations and case studies
- Ideally you will hold a recognised academic marketing qualification and/or relevant marketing and event management experience as well as having a keen interest in science or pharmaceutical production and manufacture.
