Olympic gymnast Simone Biles has been named as K18’s latest brand ambassador.
Biles, who has won 37 Olympic and World Championship medals, has signed a two-year partnership with the bond repair-focused hair care brand.
She will front a social media campaign focused on the theme ‘inner strength’ which will follow her routine “on and off the mat”.
“Simone Biles is synonymous with pushing boundaries and her impact extends far beyond her sport,” said Suveen Sahib, co-founder and CEO of K18.
“This partnership is a testament to resilience, the power of science in elevating self-expression and the belief that when we tap into our inner strength, anything is possible - whether it’s a gold medal performance or transforming the future of hair care.”
K18 has also partnered with Biles’ longtime professional hairstylist, Jasmine Johnson, who will also serve as a brand ambassador.
“I feel most natural and beautiful when I let my hair down, especially after competing in a bun or ponytail,” said Biles.
“The K18 molecular repair hair oil and leave-in molecular repair hair mask have been game changers for me, so my hair stays healthy amid all the stress I put it through, including with extensions.”
Biles joins influencer Sofia Richie Grainge, who was named as K18’s brand ambassador in June 2023.
The model and daughter of singer Lionel Richie featured in the biotech hair care brand’s first-ever national television advert in the US.
K18 was founded in 2020 by Sahib and Britta Cox.
