Tattoo-inspired beauty brand KVD Beauty has tapped British celebrity make-up artist Nikki Wolff as its Global Director of Artistry, lending her talents to the brand's marketing campaigns and new product development.
Amassing 1.7m Instagram followers for her bold make-up looks, Wolff began her career at the London College of Fashion and has gone on to make up a host of famous faces including Dua Lipa, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Yara Shahida and Kendall Jenner, while her work has graced the pages of Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire.
Her latest role will see her create looks for the Kendo-owned brand's campaigns and marketing efforts, as well as consulting on new product development and innovation.
"KVD Beauty continues to amaze me with their innovation of high quality and high-performance make-up, truly representing next-level artistry,” said Wolff.
"As a member of the make-up artist community, I've always counted on the brand to deliver versatile products that have aided me in editorial shoots, red carpets and more.
“I'm so honoured to be taking on the role as Global Director of Artistry at KVD Beauty and I am excited to work together on new product launches and overall, be a part of their legacy in the make-up industry."
Wolff joins the vegan cosmetics brand's Global Veritas Artistry team of global make-up artists, alongside recently appointed Global Director of Tattoo Artistry Miryam Lumpini as well as Sandra Saenz, Anthony Nguyen, Christian Schild and Fanny Maurer.
Tara Loftis, Global Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for Kendo Brands, added: "We're so thrilled to be collaborating with Nikki Wolff and welcome her to the KVD Beauty team.
“Her vision and commitment for the craft aligns seamlessly with the brand. We are excited for her involvement in the product development process as KVD Beauty continues to deliver tattoo-inspired make-up to consumers."
The appointment follows KVD Beauty's second rebrand, as part of its efforts to distance itself from tattoo artist and original founder Kat Von D after she sold her remaining shares in the brand last year.
Though maintaining its legacy initials, the brand stated that KVD now stands for ‘Kara, Veritas, Decora’, Latin for ‘Value, Truth, Beauty’.
