Teaming up with the Wild at Heart Foundation, the skin care brand will begin by supporting dogs in Puerto Rico and raising funds via a limited edition launch

PRAI Beauty, the skin care brand, has teamed up with the Wild at Heart Foundation to bring an end to the world's stray dog population.

With up to four million healthy dogs put to sleep in US shelters alone every year, the two companies are making it their aim to compassionately reduce the number of dogs living without a home.

PRAI Beauty's CEO and founder Cathy Kangas and Wild at Heart Foundation's co-founder Nikki Tibbles own 11 rescue dogs between them.

Kangas said: “My greatest joy are my five rescue dogs.

"When I started PRAI, one of my missions was to ensure the business could help support my ongoing campaigning and dedication to animal welfare.

"Its not about handing a donation over to tick a philanthropy box, its about genuinely making a difference however big or small."

To support the #WILDFORPRAI cause, the two entrepreneurs will begin in Puerto Rico, hosting a sterilisation clinic, rehoming strays and educating pet owners and children on how to care for their dogs.

The duo had recently campaigned in Puerto Rico with the Humane Society, which Kangas sits on the board of, to neuter over 6,600 dogs in two weeks.

In addition, PRAI is launching a limited edition Ageless Throat & Décolletage Crème (£40) on National Dog Day on 26 August.

Featuring a 'kissing dogs' crystal design, £5 from every sale will go to the Wild at Heart Foundation to help fund its work.

Tibbles added: “Cathy and I immediately bonded over the love of our rescue dogs and passion to make a difference, so I’m so delighted, and so grateful, to have joined together for this exciting partnership with PRAI Beauty.

"100% of the funds raised will go directly to the cause, supporting rescue projects, neutering programmes and education initiatives.”
