Pujolasos has appointed Sergi Gonalez as its new Sales Manager.
Gonzalez will be responsible for the sales department of the international wooden packaging company for the premium sector.
The commercial expansion of Pujolasos within the perfumery and cosmetic packaging market will be one of the main priorities for Gonzalez.
He has held the position since January, but the company has only recently released a formal statement.
A Management graduate from ESADE University in Barcelona, González further trained in Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island, US.
He started his working career in the packaging and cosmetic sector as a sales manager for Spain, Portugal, North America and South America markets.
The Barcelona-based company boasts Rituals, Clarins and Loewe as some of its key clients.
The company’s announcement follows news that the wood packaging supplier reported an increase of 31% turnover last year.
In 2016, Pujolasos achieved a turnover of $5.4m and is predicting a $6.5m turnover this year.
All of Pujolasos’ processes are carried out at its facilities in Sant Pere de Torelló including design, development, manufacture, decoration, lacquering, assembly, and research, development and innovation (R+D+I).
The R+D+I department was formed in November last year and allows for prototyping and project strategy.
