Nutriburst, the beauty supplement brand, has signed footballer Mary Earps as its new ambassador.
The England Lionesses and Manchester United goalkeeper will promote the brand’s range of vitamin gummies, which include products to boost the hair, skin and nails.
As well as a variety of fitness-focused supplements that claim to boost energy and support healthy joints and muscles.
"Nutriburst really aligns with who I am as a person, what I'm passionate about, and my values,” said the 31-year-old.
Earps claims that Nutriburst gives her that "extra edge" during football games.
Nutriburst’s product offering includes the Ashwagandha KSM-66 gummies, which the brand claims help to strengthen muscles, amplify mental awareness and combat stress and fatigue.
Nutriburst founder Simran Kanwar said: “[Earps'] commitment to her sport and her holistic approach to wellness perfectly align with our brand values.
“We are confident that Mary will inspire others to prioritise their health and wellbeing."
Earps’ appointment comes as the worlds of sports and beauty are increasingly colliding, with sports stars launching their own brands and beauty brands tapping into athletic talent to promote their products.
L’Oréal Paris recently scored Matildas and Manchester City footballer Mary Fowler as its first female athlete ambassador to represent the beauty brand in Australia and New Zealand.
Meanwhile, P&G’s Gillette Venus signed Earps’ fellow Lioness Lotte Wubben-Moy to appear in its marketing campaigns ahead of the Women’s World Cup last year.
