British singer-songwriter Rita Ora (pictured left) is launching her own hair care range Typebea.
The four-piece collection is inspired by the star’s hair growth struggles after years of damage from extreme heat and excess styling.
Typebea, pronounced ‘type B', was created in partnership with Australian entrepreneur Anna Lahey (right), founder of marine collagen supplement brand Vida Glow.
The duo partnered up after finding “common ground… over traumatic struggles with hair loss”, read a statement from the brand.
Typebea is said to have been three years in the making and launches this month.
“The relationship we have with our hair is so personal,” Ora posted on Instagram as she unveiled the brand.
“For me it is a huge part of my identity, creativity and confidence.
“Throughout my career I have had nearly every hair colour and style.
“My hair has been bleached, I have had extensions, I have cut it short.
“But now I can say my hair is the healthiest it has ever been. I cannot wait to share this with you.”
Tybebea comprises four products formulated with Baicapil complex, which is said to aid hair health and growth.
The products are suitable for all hair types and are priced from RRP £23.
Typebea’s packaging is yet to be revealed.
Ora is not the only A-lister breaking into the hair care market.
Singer Beyoncé has unveiled her long-awaited collection Cécred, which is based on keratin recovery tech.
Model Bella Hadid has also teased the release of her own beauty brand Orebella.
The trademark filing application states the range will include shampoos, conditioners, leave-in conditioners and styling creams.
