1. Map
The chances of getting lost are high, so grab a copy of the printed map at the entrance. Each section will be coloured differently. Circle the sections you need to visit, plan your route, and tick off each section as you go.
You can also check out Cosmoprof’s digital map (preliminary version available now).
2. Samples
There will be lots of samples given away at the exhibition. Consider bringing a large backpack or handbag, or take grab a free reusable bag that will be given out by exhibitors. If you’re visiting on the last day of the exhibition (Sun 24th March 2024), bringing some cash in Euros will be handy as exhibitors in the “Cosmo Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon” section tend to sell their products at heavily discounted prices after 3pm.
3. Food
It's best to grab food before 11.30am as queues start forming by 11.45am. There will be food trucks within the exhibition compound, and food stalls inside the exhibition centre.
Look out for the gelato cart inside the exhibition centre if you fancy something sweet.
4. Schedule Meetings
With over 250,000 visitors attending Cosmoprof 2023, booking meetings with the brands or manufacturers you're interested in is a great idea to ensure you have someone assigned to discuss with you and maximise your opportunities there.
If you’re looking for a UK-based Beauty and Personal Care Contract Manufacturer, Herrco Cosmetics has started booking meetings. Click here to schedule a meeting with them.
5. Taxi Post-Exhibition
You’ve walked over 30k steps for a solid 8 hours. The last thing you want to do is to play a life-size game of snake (p/s: that’s how long the taxi queue will be).
If you’ve planned your route by map and scheduled in meetings, the next best thing you can do is to book a taxi in advance to take you back to your hotel or airport (your future-self will thank you for this!)

We hope you found this guide handy! It was compiled by Charlotte, Head Marketing Formulator at Herrco Cosmetics, who would’ve appreciated such a guide when she first visited Cosmoprof Bologna 2023.
